Survey Launch Co. ("Survey Launch")

This policy applies to Survey Launch and the Survey Launch domain, surveyentrance.com and related subdomains used to collect, process and/or store Personal Data for the purpose of market research as a service to our clients. Survey Launch complies with the applicable laws and regulations protecting the privacy of Personal Data in all the jurisdictions in which it operates.

Commitment to Privacy

Survey Launch complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and the United Kingdom or Switzerland to the United States in reliance on EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension or the Swiss-U.S. DPF. Survey Launch has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the U.S. DPF Principles with respect to such information. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the U.S. DPF Principles, the U.S. DPF Principles shall govern. Purpose

Survey Launch is contracted by its clients to perform data collection through the use of online surveys. Any Personal Data you supply to Survey Launch is used exclusively for legitimate research or statistical purposes.

Survey Launch conducts online survey research for our clients and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose Personal Data it processes. Survey Launch will retain Personal Data we process on behalf of our clients for as long as we are contractually obligated to do so in order to provide services to our clients.

Notice

If you participate in a survey hosted by Survey Launch you may be asked to disclose Personal Data such as your age, your gender, your geographic location, your household size/income as well as your personal opinions on products and/or services relevant to the research being conducted. Any collection of Personal Data is limited to the information that is relevant for the purpose of processing. Your survey responses are held in confidence and combined with other survey participant responses which are shared in aggregate with our clients who commission the data collection.

Choice

Participation in online surveys is voluntary and you may choose whether to participate and therefore choose whether to disclose any Personal Data. Your responses will be collected and be used solely for the purpose for which they are intended, to conduct market research. Survey Launch will not knowingly collect Personal Data from those under the age of 13 without first getting permission from their parent or guardian.

If you are a customer of one of our clients and would no longer like to be contacted for the purpose of market research surveys you may contact the company that you interact with directly to opt out of future surveys. You may also send an email to privacy@surveylaunch.com to opt out of future surveys and be placed on our internal 'do not contact list'.

Onward Transfer

In the normal course of business Survey Launch conducts research and statistical analysis and enters into signed contractual agreements for the processing of Personal Data.

Contractual Agreements include adherence to the following:

  • Personal Data will be processed solely and exclusively for the research purposes it is intended for.
  • Personal Data will not be disclosed for any other purpose, including, without limitation, marketing, selling, or influencing the opinions or decisions of any respondent.
  • Survey Launch will not disclose Personal Data to any third party.
  • Survey Launch will maintain administrative and technical safeguards to protect Personal Data it processes.

Survey Launch shall not subcontract or delegate any of its obligations to any third party without prior written consent from the acting controller.

Survey Launch may be required to disclose Personal Data in response to lawful requests from public authorities including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

In cases of onward transfer to third parties of Personal Data of EU, Swiss received pursuant to the EU-U.S., Swiss– U.S., Survey Launch maintains potential liability.

Security

Survey Launch safeguards and protects your Personal Data. We educate our employees and service providers on our Privacy Policy and Principles as well as their roles and responsibilities in complying with them.

Survey Launch maintains and implements a data security program that includes industry standard administrative, technical, physical and operational safeguards designed to:

  • maintain security and confidentiality of Personal Data
  • safeguard against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security of Personal Data
  • protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of Personal Data that could result in harm to Survey Launch or it's users.

Survey Launch periodically reviews and enhances our security policies as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to data stored on Survey Launch servers.

However, this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical or managerial safeguards.

Access

Survey Launch takes reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Data is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current. Survey Launch commits to adherence to this policy for as long as it retains such information.

  • Inquire about what data, if any, we have about you.
  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you.
  • Express any concern you may have about our use of your data.

Survey Launch will respond to your request within a reasonable time frame, generally within 1-2 weeks.

If you have contacted Survey Launch and feel your requests cannot be resolved with Survey Launch you may contact an alternative, independent resolution body at no cost to you personally. Survey Launch utilizes a non-profit alternative resolution body operated by the Insights Association located in the United States.

Enforcement

Survey Launch is subject to the investigative and enforcement powers of United States Federal Trade Commission.

Amendments

Survey Launch will periodically make changes to this privacy policy and will post such notifications on its website, https://www.www.surveylaunch.com/dpf/.
